Radioactivity Monitoring Analysis and Recommendations of Imported Minerals at Zhanjiang Port

为了了解并掌握进口矿产品放射性情况,为加强口岸放射性监测和控制提供参考依据,对来源于50多个国家和地区的415批次进口矿产品放射性情况进行调查分析。有9个国家共计29批货物超出本底水平5倍及以上,最高的超过本底350倍。因此,进口矿产品存在放射性风险,应加强对进口矿产品实施常规放射性监测与控制。

To understand and grasp the import of radioactive minerals, and to provide a reference for strengthening port radioactivity monitoring and controlling, the situation of 407 batches of imported radioactive minerals from more than 50 countries and regions were investigated and analyzed. The results show that 9 countries totaling 29 shipments exceed 5 times the background level and above, up more than 350 times background. The radioactive risk of imports exists, and the monitoring and controlling on imports of minerals associated implementation routine radiological should be strengthened.
