摘要
本文从英汉语言对比研究的角度,结合《边城》原著及金介甫英译本使英汉语言动静之特点得以阐明,即:汉语具有动态特征,英语具有静态特征。汉语的动态特征从动词的大量使用中体现出来,英语的静态特征则主要表现在多用名词、介词、弱式动词、形容词和副词来代替动词的使用上。
This paper analyzes the dynamic and static features of Chinese and English from the perspective of contrastive studies of English and Chinese. Examples are selected from ＂ Border Town＂ and its English version. The dynamic feature of Chinese is reflected by the frequent use of verbs. While the static feature of English is clarified from the frequent use of nouns,prepositions,feeble verbs,adjectives and adverbs instead of verbs.
