This paper is for the purpose of introducing the cause of crack of the NO.1 throttle valve's seat for Unit 5,Guangdong Guohua Yuedian Taishan power plant;interpreting the handling measures and the issues which should be taken into account.The experience described in this paper can be used as a reference for those who many have or encounter the similar problem.
