The paper briefly compares the traditional DBB mode and EPC mode,analyzes the role of design in international engineering project phases of whole life cycle under EPC general contracting mode,explores the advantage of design unit undertaking EPC international engineering,and finally puts forward a series of suggestions for improving design unit＇s own quality.
