Middleware is a kind of system software and service program, it locates on the operating system of C/S and beneath the distributed applications, and manages computing resource and network communications. It’s used to realize the application connectivity, data sharing, collaboration and interactive operations in distributed computing environment. CICS (Customer Information Control System) is a product which offers online event-handling and event management. It provides a transaction processing environment for commercial application and it’s used for systems with a flood of event. This article analyzes and generalizes the characteristic of middleware, and deeply researches CICS transaction middleware and the bright future.
