The Construction of Campus Network based on the Unification of Multiple Networks: the Digital Campus Network Construction of Nanjing Institute of Railway Technology, Suzhou Branch

计算机硬件及软件技术的发展促使计算机网络的应用日益广泛深入,尤其在校园网建设中。南京铁道职业技术学院苏州校区利用新建校区的机遇,在新数字化校园建设过程中,将原先各自独立的语音网络、数据网络和视频网络等融合在一起,从而在一个物理网络内实现多种网络应用而不会互相干扰,同时也使校园网的管理提高了一个层次。

The technical development of computer hardware and software boosts the application of network, especially under the campus network construction. In the process of constructing the new digital campus network, Suzhou Branch of Nanjing Institute of Railway Technology realizes the syncretism of speech network, data network and video network, which used to be separated. Though multiple networks are operated in one physical network, they are mutually independent. At the same time, the management of campus network is also improved.
