With the raising and development of modern information technology,multimedia has became the supplemental means in English teaching. From the angle of the meaning of multimedia,the necessity of multimedia in English Teaching and the multimedia's application in English teaching. The thesis mainly analyzes multimedia's great importance to English teaching,even to the whole educational cause.
