建构未来实验室——川美新媒体艺术的观念与实践

Constructing the Future Laboratory——New Media Art:Theory and Practice at Sichuan Fine Arts Institute

本文回顾四川美术学院新媒体系开办以来的历程,思考在此创建新媒体艺术系的缘起和目的。结合对艺术发展趋势的思考,作者认为,开办专门的新媒体系以培养新媒体艺术人才是新媒体艺术实践的重要组成部分。为了构建如同"未来实验室"一样的多元化教学模式,四川美术学院新媒体艺术系在课程设置、学生社会实践、新媒体艺术中心的开设、国际新媒体论坛的举办等方面,作出诸多努力。本文是对该系新媒体专业发展的回顾,也是对未来的展望。

This paper is a retrospective of the history of the New Media Department at Sichuan Fine Arts Institute, in which the author is reflecting on its origin and purpose. As the author believes, the new media department, created to train and develop talents in new media art, is an important part of the practice in new media art. In order to put in place a diverse instruction model such as the ＂Future Laboratory＂, the department has made relentless efforts in the setting of courses, practical training of the students, establishment of the New Media Art Center, launching of the International New Media Forum, etc. Besides, this paper provides an outlook to the future concerning the new discipline and department.
