Curatorial Statement of “Up-Youth China Young Artists Exhibition 2015”

近年来,推介青年艺术家的展览多有举办,但一些停留在展示和宣传的层面,而另一些则有所深入。本次"旋构塔:2015中国青年艺术家推介展"则在展品的选择和叙事方面,具有强烈的问题意识,且因为三位策展人的合作而获得了多元的面向。因此,本刊将这三位策展人的自述集结刊发,并加入展评一篇,希望读者可以更深入地理解这个展览及其所探讨的问题,引发对当代青年艺术的持续关注和思考。

In recent years, many youth artist promotion exhibitions have been held, among which some have remained trapped at the levels of display and promotion, while others have gone a little deeper in some aspects. The 'Up-Youth China Young Artists Exhibition 2015' shows a strong problem awareness in terms of exhibit selection and presentation, and presents diversified aspects as a result of three curators' cooperation. Hence, this issue puts together the three curators' personal statements and attaches a commentary. By doing so, we hope the readers will further understand this exhibition and the problem it explores, and hope it will induce continuous attention to and reflection on youth art.
