20世纪八九十年代以来,通渭兴起了一种独特的文化现象——书画热。通渭人对书画的痴迷程度,在全国其它地方罕见,被业内人士称之为"通渭现象"。社会各界人士就现象形成之因进行多方深层探讨。本文对各方之说进行了分析研究,否定牵强之说,存言之有理者,提出一些自己的思考。

Since 1980＇s and 1990＇s,aphenomenon,calligraphy and painting heat,has been in the making.People in Tongwei are so crazy about calligraphies and paintings that it has been called ＂Tongwei Phenomenon＂ by experts,which can seldom be seen in other parts of China.People from all circles of life have made in-depth explorations about it from different levels.The paper analyzes and studies different opinions and reflects upon it after negating far-fetched sayings and keeping reasonable ones.
