A Comprehensive Study on Building Construction of Vernacular Architecture in the Greater Jiangnan Region Its Implications,Paths and Methods

提出从传统营造的视角,把泛江南地域的乡土建筑作为一个整体的研究对象,关注其系统性和关联性,关注其历史的演化规律,关注其与北方官式建筑的流变关系,以期从更宏观的层面探求该区域营造技艺的体系与特征的构想与方法。重点阐述了研究的意义和核心内容,并对文化人类学等研究方法和研究中的关键问题进行了分析和讨论。

From a view of traditional construction,this paper considers vernacular architecture in the lower Yangtze River region altogether as an integral research object,with an emphasis on the systematic and relevant nature to study the rule of historical development and the evolutionary relations with official buildings in North China.It explores approaches to studying tectonic techniques and characteristics of construction of the region,and elaborates on the significance and contents of the research agenda with comments and analyses on some crucial issues of approaches such as cultural anthropology.
