On the Influence of Cultural Enlightenment on Technophobia

技术恐惧的生成既是一个文化的推动过程,也是一种文化的形成过程。古代宗教、哲学和社会文化背景下,形成了以技术庸俗化和巫术化为主要内容的技术恐惧现象。文化启蒙去除了人们对技术原始与蒙昧的认识和技术偏见,形成了新的技术观,消解了传统技术观念下的技术恐惧现象。文化启蒙在揭示技术本质的善时,也把人们的注意力引向了科技的强力意志。对技术的不顾后果的崇拜带来了人与技术的异化等严重问题,从而催生了以破坏机器、抵制技术革新、对技术风险和安全性感到焦虑、担忧和恐慌等为主要内容的现代技术恐惧。构建合乎科学发展观和生态文明价值理念的技术文化,是正确应对技术恐惧的可行之道。

The various techno-culture can form different technical view,and derive various technological psychology and behavior. They constitute the cultural basis of technophobia in certain historical period. The generation of technophobia not only is a culture driven process,but also is a process of culture forming. In ancient cultural background of religion,philosophy and the social,the technophobia is formed with technological vulgarization and witchcraft. Cultural enlightenment removed people’s primitive understanding of technology and technological prejudice,formed new views of technology. It cleaned up the technophobia of traditional technical views. Culture enlightenment leads the people’s attention to powerful will of science and technology,when it revealing the nature of technology is good. The reckless admiration for technology has brought serious problems such as the alienation of human beings and technology,which has forced the modern technophobia that damage the machine,boycott of technical innovation,anxiety,fear and panic to technological risk. Building technology culture conforms to the scientific development and the value of ecological civilization,is the feasible way to correctly deal with technophobia.
