2004～2013年中医英译研究的文献计量学分析

A Bibliometric Review of Publications on English Translation of Traditional Chinese Medicine between 2004 and 2013

目的：为更好地了解国内中医英译研究现况,需要应用文献计量学的方法进行综述,以期为今后的中医英译研究提供一些数据和参考。方法：以CNKI为数据源,检索2004～2013年间发表的所有中医英译研究相关论文,采用文献计量学方法统计分析文献数量、年份、作者、主题。结果：共检索出638篇相关文献。过去10年间相关文献数量逐年上升,主题以探讨翻译原则和方法最多。结论：中医英译研究逐渐成为学术期刊发表热点,但主题有待进一步深化和拓展。

Objective： With the increasing globalization of Traditional Chinese Medicine （TCM）, the demand for English translations of TCM has been on the rise. There are numerous studies and specialists dedicated to this area. To understand the status quo and provide some basic data and references for future study on English translation of Traditional Chinese Medicine. Method： A quantitative literature review of the characteristics of Chinese publication on English translation studies of Traditional Chinese Medicine （TCM） was conducted using CNKI as the data resource using a bibliometric approach. Articles on English translation of TCM published in the past ten years （from Jan, 2004 to Dec, 2013） were identified and retrieved from CNKI and full texts were downloaded for screening eligibility. Basic information including names of author, journal and publication year of these papers was extracted and analyzed. All the included papers were classified into the following six categories according to their themes： translation theory, translation principles, technique ＆ methods, translation criticism, teaching ＆ learning, translation review and others. Results： 638 papers were identified in the analysis. The number of the publishing articles has been on steady rise in the past ten years. Translation principles, techniques ＆ methods were the major focus of the TCM translation studies. Conclusion： Studies on English translation of TCM are becoming popular yet the themes need to be varied and furthered.
