资源组拼视角下双元创新与企业绩效的中介机制研究

How Innovation Ambidexterity Lead to Firm Performance: The Perspective of Resource Bricolage

从资源管理的视角,双元创新是企业同时探索新资源和利用旧资源的复合战略行为,这一战略将促使企业进行资源组拼——整理、组合、改造已有资源形成新的资源或提供新的服务,通过以较小成本发掘新的价值,进而提升了企业绩效。为验证上述假设,对广东和浙江共209家中小企业进行问卷调查,实证结果发现:(1)采取双元创新战略的企业显著地进行了更多的资源组拼活动;(2)资源组拼与企业绩效呈显著正相关关系;(3)资源组拼在双元创新与企业绩效之间起完全中介作用。上述结果在组合双元和相对双元的计算模型中均保持稳健,说明资源组拼是企业成功执行双元战略的有效过程路径。

Based on the perspective of resource management, innovation ambidexterity was considered as a compound strategy, which simultaneously pursue resource exploration and exploitation, it lead firms to conduct bricolage, which means to arrange, recombine, and transform existing resource into new resource or service, by excavating new values form old resource in a very low cost, bricolage could improve firms competitiveness and performance. Results from 209 small and medium sized enterprises（SMEs） in Guangdong and Zhejiang provinces indicate that：（1） Those firms who adopt innovation ambidexterity undertake more resource bricolage.（2） Resource bricolage has a positive effect on firm performance.（3） Resource bricolage fully mediates the relation between innovation ambidexterity on firm performance. These results were robust both in combined ambidexterity and balanced ambidexterity, which indicate that resource bricolage was an effective pathway enterprises can employ to implement innovation ambidexterity strategies.
