模仿效应、竞争效应与经济增长集约化——基于区域动态面板数据的检验

Imitation Effect,Competition Effect and Economic Growth Intensification:A Test Based on Regional Dynamic Panel Data

利用中国1996-2012年非平衡面板数据,对外资进入所产生的竞争效应及模仿效应进行广义矩(GMM)估计,可以得到关于外资技术溢出效应的丰富结果。研究表明,外资参与度反映的竞争效应阻碍了经济增长集约化水平的提升;而外资企业生产本地化程度所反映的模仿效应则对经济增长集约化水平的提高产生显著的促进作用。为实现外资引进技术的高效利用,就应该着力提高外资企业的生产本地化程度,扩大外资技术溢出效应,进而提升经济增长集约化水平。

This paper makes use of China＇s non-balanced panel data from 1996 to 2012 to conduct a GMM estimation on the competition effect and imitation effect resulted from the entry of foreign capital,so as to obtain abundant outcomes concerning technology spillover effect via FDI.The findings indicate that the competition effect reflected by FDI＇s involvement significantly hinders the improvement of the intensification of economic growth,while the imitation effect reflected by production localization of foreign enterprises has significantly promoted the intensification of economic growth.In order to make effective use of foreign technology,it is necessary to improve the production localization of the foreign enterprises,expand the spillover effect of the foreign technology,so as to improve the intensification of China＇s economic growth.
