Longzhennü,a Woman of Jiangxi Origin Living in Yunnan:A Study on her Deeds and Poem Collection

龙贞女是明清云南贞女中的典型,她的"奔殉"行为和守节苦行事迹被宦滇文人王文治以诗序的形式记录。龙贞女能诗擅文,有诗集《密藏诗钞》,惜不传,现仅存《元鸟行》一首,诗歌意旨恳切。贞女诗歌多自写幽愤,语言平实自然,龙贞女《元鸟行》为"天籁自鸣"者。

Longzhennü was a typical example of faithful decent woman in Yunnan of the Ming and Qing Dynasties,whose ＂martyrdom acts＂and ascetic deeds were recorded by Wang Wenzhi,a man of letters staying in Yunnan. It is said that the woman were good at poetry,creating such poems as＂Secret Copies of Poetry＂. Most of her poems express her hidden anger,written in natural and plain language.
