This paper investigates into the present status of college students＇ socialization and the effect of the core socialist values on college students＇ sense of social responsibility, aiming to help improve the teaching practices and creating students with comprehensive qualities including a high sense of social responsibility, an ardent love for the country and passionate dedication to work. Cultivation of college students＇ social responsibility is vital to the realization of the Chinese dream- making China a powerful, democratic, highly civilized and harmonious land of happiness.
