中国历史悠久,在时间长河中诞生了无与伦比的不计其数的艺术品。从器型、材质到色彩,无一不饱含着深厚的文化底蕴并呈现出清晰的视觉传达要素。改革开放之后,伴随着西方艺术思想的涌入,中国的艺术设计色彩也就大量使用了西方色彩的表达形式,因而导致传统色彩的式微。在弘扬中国传统文化的大潮中,传统色彩在最近几年又被赋予了新的内涵,通过构图、色彩运用等创新手段,使其在当代艺术设计中焕发出新的活力。当代艺术设计与传统色彩的有机融合,使艺术品蕴含深厚而又不失当代审美情趣。从中国传统色彩的形式与内涵入手进行探讨,详细分析了传统色彩在当代艺术设计中的创新应用,依照色彩搭配的规律与审美原则实施设计,就能做好贯通古今、中西的艺术设计。

Countless unsurpassed Chinese artworks were created in the long history of China. Their type, material, and color all contain deep cultural deposits and clear visual communication elements. With the reform and opening-up policy and invasion of Western art design trend, the large-scale use of Western forms of color expression in contemporary art and design led to the decline of our traditional colors. In the huge trend of carrying forward China＇s traditional culture, traditional color has been given new connotations in recent years. By means of composition, and color innovation, the traditional colors shine new light on modern art design. The integration of modern art design and traditional colors makes artwork contain deep and contemporary aesthetic tastes. This paper, exploring from the traditional form and connotation of Chinese color, analyzes the innovative applications of traditional color in modern art design. Better art design can be achieved by following the laws of color and aesthetic principles that combine the ancient and modern, the Chinese and Western art.
