英国是在高等教育质量保障领域实施审核评估模式较早的国家之一。近年来,英国对其外部质量保障机制中的审核评估进行了较大的革新,英国新时期实行的高等教育评审是对审核评估的一种继承和发展,其更加注重学生在评估中的中心地位、公众对评估信息的知情权以及减轻学校的评估负担。通过对英国审核评估的变革和高等教育评审的研究,可以为完善我国本科院校质量评估提供一些启示。

UK is one of the countries to implement an earlier institutional audit in quality assurance of higher education. In recent years, UK has made a big change in the assessment of its external quality assurance system. Higher education review is an inheritance and development of the institutional audit in UK, more emphasis on the central role in the review of students, the public＇s right to know and evaluate information, and reducing the assessment burden on schools. Through the study of the UK＇s higher education review, we can obtain some inspiration for improving the quality assessment of undergraduate colleges in China.
