湘语蟹假果遇摄字元音推链之反思

Rethink of the Push Chain of Vowels ofC haracters from MC Xie 蟹,Jia 假,Guo 果 and Yu 遇 Final Groups in Xiang Dialects

本文对学界有关湘语蟹假果遇四摄元音推链音变的观点进行评析,并具体分析湘方言中果摄一等与遇摄模韵、蟹开二与假开二、假开二与果摄一等的关系。指出:果摄一等高化为[u],与模韵合流同变;蟹开二与假开二并不是简单的[a]与[o]的关系;果摄一等的高化与假开二的高化不是同一时间发生的,不存在假摄推动果摄变化的可能。因此,湘方言中并不存在蟹假果遇摄的元音推链现象。果假摄元音的高化,是一种自主的后高化演变。

Abstract This paper analyzes views on the push China shift of vowels of characters from MC Xie 蟹 Jia 假 Guo 果 and Yu 遇 final groups in Xiang dialects, especially the relations between group and 1^st division of Guo 果： group. It argues that： 1） vowels of the 1^st division of Guo group raised to [ u] and merged into Mo 模 rhyme. 2） the relation between Kaikouhu 开口呼 in the 2^nd division of Xie 蟹 group and Jia 假 group is not simply the relation of [ a] and [ o]. 3） the raise of Kaikouhu 开口呼 in the 2nd division of Jia 假 group and 1^st division of Guo group did not happen at the same time and it is impossible for the shift of Jia 假 group to push vowels of Guo 果 group. It concludes from MC Xie 蟹 Jia 假 Guo 果 and Yu 遇 raise of vowel in Guo 果 and Jia 假 groups that the push chain shift of vowels of characters final groups did not exist in Xiang dialects.
