＂ Individualized education and graded teaching＂ is widely applied to college English teaching. The essay is to analyze an example of assessing the English learning of college students in the process of graded teaching with the purpose of trying to establish a stratified assessment pattern of college English which is able to reflect the results of graded teaching in the round and effectively supervise the learning process. It aims to make graded teaching truly realize the concept of cultivating the students of distinctive abilities.
