Treatment based on Syndrome Differentiation for Atopic Dermatitis in Children

近年来小儿特应性皮炎的发病率日趋上升,中医认为其多由于患儿先天禀赋不足,血热内盛及后天调摄不当而致肺脾俱虚加之感受风、湿、热邪导致发病。中医药通过辨证论治,分期分型内服外治,注重调护等治疗方法,在治疗特应性皮炎方面的疗效显著,并在防止复发方面,显现出比单纯应用西药更明显的优势,同时能够更好地提高患者生活质量。

Objective In recent years, the morbidity of atopic dermatitis in children is going up. The TCM thought that atopic dermatitis in children resulted from congenital inadequacy, excess blood heat and improper habits causing weakness of the lung and spleen, together with undue wind dampness and heat. TCM treated this disease through syndrome differentiation, staging of oral administration and external therapy, paid attention to aftercare, so that it has obtained obvious effect. On the treatment and relapse prevention, TCM is better than the application of Western medicine. Furthermore, it can improve the quality of patients.
