Research Situation on Moxibustion in the Treatment of Mild Cognitive Impairment and Dementia

轻度认知障碍(mild cognitive impairment,MCI)是介于正常老化和痴呆之间的一种认知缺损临床临界状态。痴呆属于针灸治疗优势病种范畴,近年来,用灸法干预MCI和痴呆的临床效果和相关机制研究都取得了一定进展。现从MCI和痴呆的中医认识、灸法治疗MCI和痴呆的作用机制和临床研究等研究概况进行简要总结。

Mild cognitive impairment （MCI） is a kind of cognitive impairments’s clinical critical state between normal ageing and dementia. And dementia belongs to the category of acupuncture treatment advantage diseases. In recent years, MCI and dementia’s moxibustion intervention and the related mechanism research have made certain progress. This article has summarized MCI and dementia understands of traditional Chinese medicine, and moxibustion in the treatment for MCI and dementia aspects such as the mechanism of action and clinical research.
