以通用计算机辅助制造软件PowerMILL环境为基础,介绍了利用VB对PowerMILL进行二次开发的方法和原则。以封闭区域快速开粗加工二次开发为例,具体的对二次开发的过程进行了说明。借助PowerMILL软件二次开发技术,不仅避免了大量的重复性工作,而且为提高CAM编程效率提供了一条有效途径。

In this paper, introduces the use of VB to PowerMILL secondary development method and principle, based on the general computer-aided manufacturing software PowerMILL environment. For example with the rapid rough machining in enclosed area, the process of secondary development is illustrated concretely. Using PowerMILL software seeondary development technology, not only to avoid a lot of repetitive work, and to improve the efficiency of programming provides a good way.
