榆林(特指榆阳区)方言中的"奶奶"有"岳母"、"婶婶"之义,与"奶奶"的常用语义完全不同。梳理"奶奶"在现代汉语通语及榆林方言中的使用情况,分析"奶奶"在榆林方言中"岳母"、"婶婶"义出现的原因可考辨语言文化的地域特征及其形成规律。
