高职英语课程改革必要性的实证研究——基于武汉商贸职业学院的分析

An Empirical Study on the Necessity of Strengthening the Construction and Reform of English Curriculum at Vocational Colleges——Based on the analysis of Wuhan International Trade University

在大力发展职业教育的背景下,强化职业教育特点是职业教育发展的关键。高职英语课程教学需要贴合职业需求,更好地让学生掌握有效的知识和方法。为此在武汉商贸职业学院,对部分毕业生和在校生进行问卷调查,通过毕业生在实际工作中对英语使用现状和在校生英语课程的学情数据进行统计分析,发现传统的高职英语课程建设模式问题突出。针对学生的学习基础、学习态度和学习效果等问题,学院初步尝试了英语课程任务教学法的改革,在课程定位、教学内容和考核体系上重新做出调整。改革后的调查数据反映出学生在出勤、听课质量、学习积极性等方面都有提高,对开放的考核方式也比较认可。实证研究得出高职英语课程的改革不仅势在必行,而且还要更加深化。

Under the background of developing vocational education, strengthening the characters of vocational education has become the key. And English curriculum at vocational college should adapt to professional needs so that students could master more practical knowledge and methods. Therefore, Wuhan International Trade University, after making questionaires to part of the graduates and the students at university and analyzing the status quo of the graduates using English and the students＇ learning situation data on English curriculum, has proved that there were prominent problems on traditional English curriculum Construction. Focusing Wuhan International Trade University has tried to rearranged on students＇ learning level, attitude and effect, reform the task-based teaching method and the adjustment to curriculum orientation, content and appraisal system. The survey data after the reform shows the improvement on students＇ attendance record, quality of attending the lectures, study enthusiam and approval to open examination. The empirical study has come to the conclusion that the reform on English curriculum needs to be not only enforced but also deepened.
