摘要
人脸图像倾斜校正是人脸识别中一种重要的预处理过程。该文提出了最大特征分量的快速人脸图像倾斜校正方法。该方法避免了计算协方差矩阵的特征值和特征向量,运算量小,并通过理论分析证明了几何矩来计算人脸图像的主轴偏转的方向及倾斜角度等同于主元特征向量的方向。该文在ORL人脸数据库上选取了十幅不同倾斜方向的人脸图像进行了充分的实验,实验结果表明用该方法来校正倾斜的人脸图像是可行的,同时基于主元分析的方法平均计算时间是0.072 2,而利用几何矩方法平均计算时间是0.046 5。在时间消耗方面,该方法更优。
Face image tilt correction is an important pre-treatment process of face recognition.In this paper,the method used for the fast correction of the tilt of face image based on the principal Eigenface analysis is presented. This method characterized by the light computational load well avoids calculating the eigenvalues and eigenvectors of covariance matrix,and it also theoretically proves that the deflection direction and the tilt angle of the main axis of the face image,which are calculated through geometric moment,are just identical to the direction of the principal component eigenvectors.The extensive experiment on ten face images in different inclined directions selected from ORL face database is conducted in this paper.The results show that it is feasible to adopt this method to correct the inclined face image.In addition,the average computation time based on PCA is 0.072 2,while that based on geo-metric moment is 0.046 5.Thus,in view of time consumption,this method appears to be better.
