基于项目化教学的轮机专业英语课程改革实践

Application of Project-based Teaching in Marine Engineering English Curriculum Innovation

本文论述了应用项目化教学法改革轮机专业英语教学,目的是在真实的语境中,通过完成任务来帮助学生主动建构知识,在"做中学",在共同讨论和合作中提高语言运用能力和协作能力。为配合改革,课题组进行了企业和学生需求调查分析,编写课程标准、建设方案及项目化教材,建成网络课程,注重选择合适的教学策略、师资培养和第二课堂活动等。

This article described the application of project-based teaching in Marine Engineer- ing English curriculum innovation, aiming at helping students actively construct their own knowledge through accomplishing various tasks and enhance their language skills and cooper- ative learning abilities, the whole process of which is based on ＂learning by doing＂ theory. For this innovation, our research group conducted need analysis surveys among enterprises and students, compiled the curriculum criteria, made the planning for the curriculum innova- tion, collected project-based teaching materials, constructed the online courses, chose appro- priate teaching strategies, enhance teaching staff training and organized extracurricular activ- ities, etc.
