Professor Chen Xiaoning's Experience in Treating Chronic Pharyngitis Disease

陈小宁教授认为肺经蕴热、脾虚土弱、肝胃不和是慢性咽炎的重要病机。咽喉,古人称之为"清窍"之一,位于人体的高位,与"清阳"相交汇,治之以"轻"。咽喉是诸多经脉聚集的部位,与内在脏腑相关。经络通畅、气血则运行无碍,则咽喉得以濡润而舒。陈教授认为使用轻浮之药便于药力上达病所,同时药量亦需轻,药味不多。此外,陈教授喜在基础方上加用血分药,一方面认为久病入络,加用养血活血药能改善血瘀症状;另一方面,血能载气,使气血输布全身,上达头面营养官窍以增强疗效。同时,陈教授认为"补脾"在治疗慢性咽炎的过程中至关重要。脾气健运则运化正常,精微被吸收则肺得濡养。总之,临证之时,敢于论治,治疗之时,治标顾本,用药之时,推陈致新,陈教授根据不同症情灵活调治,往往能达到较好疗效。

Professor Chen Xiaoning viewed that the key pathology of chronic pharyngitis was heat brewing in lung vessels,spleen deficiency and spleen-earth deficiency,disharmony between liver and stomach. The ancients viewed that guttur was one of the clear orifices which located on the top of human body,joined the clear yang and treated by light formula. Guttur was the place which joined many vessels,and related with Zang-organ and Fu-organ inward. Meridian and collateral was dredging,then the blood and Qi circulated smoothly,then guttur was moist and comfortable. Professor Chen viewed that using the light and floating medicine was beneficial for medicine to get to the position of disease. Meanwhile,the sum of medicine should be small,not be large. What’ s more,Professor Chen was fond of adding blood aspect medicine based on basis prescription. On one hand,had attacked collateral,long-term disease should be add nourished and activated blood medicine to improve the blood stasis symptom. On the other hand,blood was followed by Qi and making them scatter the whole body can improve clinical effect by rising them up to head and face.Furthermore,Professor Chen viewed supplementing spleen was the key in treating chronic laryngalgia disease. Spleen Qi was healthy then it was transporting normally,and cereal nutrient was absorbed and nourished by lung. In sum,being confident of treating and attending to fundamental symptoms when treating disease. Displacing old and promoting new when prescribing medicine.According different symptoms,Professor Chen always achieved accurate clinical effect by flexible treatment.
