Based on the historical development and the patterns＇ features of Taiwan cotton prints as the research direction, the characteristics of the times and the patterns＇ themes of the Taiwan cotton prints were analyzed in the paper. Then paper summed up the unique technique of expression and the color＇s characteristics of Taiwan cotton prints＇ pattern combined with the history and the dyeing industry＇s development of Taiwan. Under the background of vigorous promotion of traditional folk cultural inheritance and innovation, the importance of traditional design culture elements were advocatedunder the precondition of keeping the muhicultural spirit and representative codes, in order to make the cotton prints visual image representative of Taiwan have better extension and development.
