This article contains an overview of nanotechnology research progress made by Air Force Research Laboratory. The fabrication methodologies and applications of polymeric- based nanostructured systems, in-situ deposition of conductive fibers, carbon nanotube rein- forcement, nanostructured coatings are discussed emphatically and bring forth the primary prospect of application trends of nanotechnology.
