The forestation experience for many years of the forestry bureau of Dunhua city was summarized in this paper. The forestation technology of matching species with the site, choosing good seedling, soil preparation specification, planting elaborately, managing and protecting forestation land were introduced. The forestation land condition, seedling choice, soil preparation potholing, planting technology and tending after planting were the keys among many factors which can affect the surrival rate of forestation.
