中国英语学习者英语二语名动分离的ERP证据 被引量:4

On the English Noun-verb Disassociations for Chinese-English Learners: Evidence from an ERP Study

摘要 本文利用ERP技术以英语二语中的名词与动词为实验材料,在控制了受试对单词熟悉度的情况下,研究了中国英语学习者对英语二语名词和动词的认知加工机制。通过对名词和动词诱发脑电的对比分析发现,在P200和P600两个成分上词性主效应显著,名词比动词诱发了更大的P200和P600;在N400和P600成分上词性与熟悉度的交互效应显著,简单效应分析表明在这两个成分上,只有低熟悉度名词和低熟悉度动词的脑电之间存在显著差异,低熟悉度的名词比低熟悉度的动词诱发了更大的N400和P600。名词和动词两类单词诱发的P200、N400和P600三个脑电成分标志着中国英语学习者使用了不同的神经机制加工处理了英语二语的名词和动词,英汉心理词典中存在着语义层面的二语名动分离现象,熟悉度影响了受试对英语二语名动的加工。 The paper investigates the underlying mechanism of English noun-verb disassociation in Chinese-English mental lexicon based on the data obtained by ERP technology. By analyzing and comparing P200, N400 and P600 ERP components elicited by English nouns and verbs respectively, we find that there exist main effects of word class for P200 and P600, nouns elicit larger P200 and P600 than verbs do ; and that the interactive effects of word class by familiarity in terms of N400 and P600 are significant, low familiarity nouns produce larger N400 and P600, compared with low familiarity verbs. Therefore, it is concluded that English nouns and verbs are processed differently, and that semantically driven noun-verb dissociations in English-Chinese mental lexicon can be found under certain conditions, and that the subjects' familiarity with English nouns and verbs influences the corresponding process.
