Discussion on unity of exogenous febrile diseases and epidemic febrile diseases

"伤寒""温病"虽然在成因上有寒邪和温邪的差别,但都属于广义伤寒的范畴。首先从寒温的本义、寒温之争的源起和现状探讨历史上寒温不统一的原因,再从六经辨证的体系论述如何统一寒温,并广纳后世温病学派的治疗方法以补张仲景在治疗温病方面的不足。

Although there is difference on the causes of exogenous febrile diseases and epidemic febrile diseases that each belongs to cold pathogen and warm pathogen, both of them are the part of generalized Shanghan. In this thesis, we would discuss the reasons why exogenous febrile diseases and epidemic febrile diseases are uniform for a long time by the original meanings of exogenous febrile diseases and epidemic febrile diseases with the origin and current situation of the argument about exogenous febrile diseases and epidemic febrile diseases, then expound how to unify exogenous febrile diseases and epidemic febrile diseases from the system of the six meridians syndrome differentiation and adopt therapeutic method created by later generations of the Wenbing School broadly to cover the shortage of ZHANG Zhong-jing in treating epidemic febrile diseases.
