“面口合谷收”的中医理论发微

Theoretical research on the theory of orofacial diseases can be treated with Hegu (LI 4)

"面口合谷收"是四总穴之一,其治疗头面五官疾病,传统上一般分别从手阳明大肠经的经脉、经别、经筋均上行于头面,"经脉所过,主治所及"以及合谷为大肠经原穴的作用来说明其机制。笔者认为还可以从脏腑别通和子午流注的对冲两方面理解"面口合谷收"的中医机制,从而更合理、更系统的解释其机制,扩展了合谷穴治疗头面五官疾病的功用与主治范围。

Hegu(LI 4) is one of four acupoints that is mainly used to treat the orofacial diseases. The channel, branches and tendon in the hand Yangming intestine meridian circulated the head and face. According to the theory of ‘the meridian could treat the disease where attack the circulation of meridian', the Hegu(LI 4) as the yuan-primary point of hand Yangming intestine meridian could treat the disease in head and face. It was more reasonable and systematic that the Hegu(LI 4) could treat the orofacial diseases that was explained by the interconnection of zang-fu viscera as well as the point selection by midday-midnight flowing of qi-blood. Meanwhile, it will help to expand the scope of indications of Hegu(LI 4) in the treatment of orofacial diseases.
