"五行"是中国古代哲学思想的重要内容,也是中医学的重要概念,在中医学乃至中国传统文化中都具有重要意义,相关学者或从哲学或从医学方面对五行概念及发展多有论述。文章欲从文字本义、出土文献及传世文献中,尽可能多的收集相关资料,多角度探源,梳理"五行"之发展流变,分析"五行"一词在历史上不同时期的发展变化,以及前人对"五行"发展脉络的概括和总结,为其规范定名和相关术语的正确应用提供一定的参考,以更好地理解、运用、发展五行理论。

The five elements is one important content of Chinese ancient philosophy, and an important concept in traditional Chinese medicine. It has been a great significance in traditional Chinese medicine and Chinese traditional culture.It has been well discussed from philosophy or medical aspect by relevant scholars. This paper intends to gather plenitudinous information from the original meaning of the text, unearthed literature and handed down literature, and explore the development of the five elements from multi perspectives. The discussion in this study servers for the better understanding, study the development of the understanding of this appellation through access to relevant Chinese ancient medicine literature, and provide references for the standard naming of terminology and the correct using of related terms application and development of the theory of the five elements.
