郑氏女科,迄今盖二十九世,无有间息,八百年传承中医国粹。其家族谱系中先后出过多名御医、名医。学术精华以抄本形式绵延流传。代表作《女科集义》,具有三大特色,其一,该书广辑中医典籍与女科专著的相关论述,征引数十位医家的40多种著作,上自《黄帝内经》《金匮要略》,下至明清医著医论,参酌郑氏女科家传方书,间附著者临证治验。其二,郑氏家传治验,著者以"郑氏补遗曰"或"郑氏家传"的形式给出。其三,书中天头处"眉批"颇多,其中不乏精辟之见。如"产前安胎,产后祛瘀"。"伏邪时气,尤宜急下,此即安胎之要诀"等。该手抄本今收藏于上海中医大学图书馆。为中国医学史上的一朵奇葩。

ZHENG's gynecology, up to today, is inherited to the 29 th generation ceaselessly for 800 years long history of the quintessence of traditional Chinese medicine. There are several imperial physicians and famous doctors appearing in its family genealogical tables. The academic essence is far-stretching spread in the form of transcript. And ZHENG's master piece Gynecology Collections is possessed with three features, firstly, the book widely collects related discuss from ancient books and records of Chinese medicine and gynecology monograph, cites more than forty kinds of works from several dozen medical scholars, from the Internal Canon of Medicine, Synopsis of Golden Chamber to medical works and discuss of Ming and Qing dynasty, refers to family inherited prescription and records of ZHENG's gynecology, and clinical experience enclosed; secondly, family inherited experience of ZHENG's gynecology is presented in the form of ‘supplementary comment of ZHENG's' or ‘family inherited of ZHENG's'; thirdly, there are many ‘notes and commentaries' at the top of a page in the book, including many incisive and penetrating opinion, for example, ‘antenatal tocolysis, postpartum blood stasis removal', ‘hidden pathogen of epidemic infectious disease is especially proper for urgent purgation, which is the essence of tocolysis' and so on. The transcript is collected in the library of Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, as a miracle in the history of Chinese medicine.
