Thoughts and methods of diagnosis and treatment of lung nodules by WU Wei-ping

中医诊治肺部结节应了解现代医学研究进展,综合评估结节风险级别,制定中西医共同随防机制,并从以下3个方面进行因理证治分析:(1)看局部,观整体,解析病因病机(外因、内因;风盛、气滞、痰阻、血瘀;寒热、虚实);(2)消结节,重证候,详于辨证论治(常见六证候的证、治、方、药);(3)立治法,举纲要,重在标本同治(祛邪六法,扶正四法),强调防治并重。随着中医诊治肺部结节的开展,势必形成具有中国特色的肺癌防治新亮点。

Before the treatment of lung nodules with Chinese medicine, one has to know the research progress of western medicine, evaluate the risk of this disease comprehensively, and establish the same follow up system as in western medicine. Then treatment should begin according to syndromes differentiation based on the following three points:(1)Observe local and the entire body, analyse the etiology and pathogenesis of the disease(distinction of external or internal pathogenesis; wind, qi-stagnation, phlegm or blood stasis; cold or heat, deficiency or excess).(2)Eliminate the nodule, pay attention to syndrome differentiation and the details of the treatment(6 types with prescriptions and herbals).(3)Emphasize on treatment of symptom and the root at the same time(6 methods to eliminate the pathogenic factors and 4 methods to strengthen the Zheng-qi), pay attention to combination of treatment and prevention. By establishing the correct diagnosis and treatment of lung nodules, Chinese medicine will become the highlight in the prevention and treatment of lung cancer.
