多囊卵巢综合征(PCOS)是以女性持续性无排卵、高雄激素或胰岛素抵抗为特征的内分泌紊乱的症候群,是引起年轻妇女月经稀少及闭经最常见的原因,也是引起子宫内膜癌、乳腺癌和心脑血管等疾病的重要危险因素。PCOS动物模型主要是病理模型,以西医指标为主。基于对PCOS中西医临床病症特点分析及对现有动物模型大量实验研究,形成如下PCOS动物模型制备规范(草案)。

Polycystic ovary syndrome(PCOS)is a syndrome of endocrine disorder characterized by persistent anovulation,hyperandrogenaemia or insulin resistance in women.It is the most common cause of scanty menstruation and amenorrhea in young women,and is also an important risk factor for endometrial cancer,breast cancer and cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases.Most animal model of PCOS is pathological model,and western medicine index was considered as the primary index.Based on the analysis of the clinical characteristics of PCOS in traditional Chinese medicine and Western medicine and a large number of experimental studies on the existing animal models,the following guidelines for the preparation of the animal models of PCOS were established.
