LYU Wen-liang’s clinical experience in treating chronic spleen and stomach diseases with dampness-heat insidious pathogen theory

吕文亮教授擅长运用温病理论论治内伤疑难杂病,尤其对慢性脾胃病的治疗颇有心得。临证挖掘出'湿热伏邪'理论,认为'湿热伏邪'具有郁热、耗阴、瘀阻、潜伏、缠绵的特点,是导致慢性脾胃病病情反复的关键。针对慢性脾胃病'湿热羁伏、脾胃失运'的病机特点,确立扶正、透邪、除邪的治疗原则,发病期治以清透湿热,佐以活血通络,扶正透邪;缓解期注重扶助正气,治以健脾养胃,酌情清热化湿,理气活血;结合四时阴阳变化加减化裁,使久羁深伏之湿热外出清解。

Professor LYU Wen-liang specializes in using the theory of warm disease to treat internal difficult and complicated diseases,especially the chronic spleen and stomach diseases.Professor LYU have excavated‘dampness-heat insidious pathogen theory’,and it is considered as the characteristics of stagnated heat,stagnant blockade of blood,latent and lingering,which are the key to lead the recurrence of chronic spleen and stomach diseases.Dampness-heat hiding,dysfunction of spleen and stomach in transportation and transformation are pathogenic characteristics of chronic spleen stomach diseases,based on this character,he establishes the therapeutic principles of strengthening body resistance,expelling pathogenic factors and eliminating pathogenic factors.During onset period,the treatment are clearing away dampness-heat,promoting blood and activating collaterals,and strengthening body resistance and expelling pathogenic factors.During remitting stage,he focuses on strengthening body resistance,as invigorating the spleen and nourishing the stomach,combining with clearing heat and promoting diuresis,regulating qi for activating blood circulation,based on differentiation of syndromes.Combined with the change of yin and yang in four seasons,it can clear away the long-standing dampness-heat and bring a cure.
