LI Jia-geng’s experience in treating jaundice by five methods and three dialectical schemes

黄疸以身黄、目黄、尿黄为主症,可由病毒性肝炎、肝癌等引起,治疗较棘手;李家庚教授辨治黄疸颇有特色,认为湿、热、滞、瘀、毒乃主要病理因素,病机乃湿热毒邪等侵犯三焦及卫气营血,导致肝胆、脾胃等脏腑功能异常,肝失疏泄,胆汁外溢;辨治以三焦、卫气营血及辨病治疗有机结合,以李氏退黄汤加减,灵活运用除湿、泄热、行气、化瘀、解毒五法治疗。文章主要介绍李家庚教授治疗黄疸的辨治特点,并附验案两则。

The main symptoms of jaundice are body jaundice,eye jaundice and urinary jaundice,which can be caused by viral hepatitis and hepatocellular carcinoma.The treatment of jaundice is difficult.Professor LI Jia-geng distinguished and treated jaundice with distinctive features.He believed that dampness,heat,stagnation,blood stasis and poison were the main pathological factors.Moreover,he thought that the pathogenesis of jaundice was dampness,heat,toxic pathogens,which invaded Sanjiao and Weiqi Yingxue,and resulted in abnormal functions of the liver,gallbladder,spleen and stomach,and gallbladder overflow.Syndrome differentiation of Sanjiao theory,syndrome differentiation of Weiqi Yingxue,and disease differentiation were organically combined.LI’s modified Tuihuang Decoction was flexibly using five methods of removing dampness,releasing heat,regulating qi-flowing,removing blood stasis and removing toxicity.This paper mainly introduced the characteristics of professor LI Jia-geng’s experiences in treating jaundice and attached two medical cases.
