中日高水平大学比较研究——基于《泰晤士高等教育》2015年亚洲大学排行榜的再分析

A Study on High-level Universities between China and Japan:Based on Times Higher Education Asia University Rankings 2015

通过对英国《泰晤士高等教育》2015年亚洲大学排行榜的有关数据的再分析来比较中日两国高水平大学的状况可发现,目前,在所有的主要指标上,中日两国高水平大学的客观差距已经非常小,而且,两者的差距均不具有统计显著性。分析其背后的原因可得知,中日高水平大学所呈现的基本现状特征与最近若干年两国中央政府的高等教育政策导向密切相关。中国政府为了进一步提高高水平大学的质量,应该坚持正确的高教财政投资战略,并根据形势变化适当做出调整。

Based on the data provided by Times Higher Education Asia University Rankings 2015, it is concluded that the academic levels of high-level universities in China have almost no differences from those in Japan. The formation of various features of universities in the two countries is in accordance with their adoption of separate policies by the central government. It is necessary for China central government to hold on to its former financial policies and make some responsive policy transformation, in order to succeed continuously in operation of high-level universities in the future.
