On the Status of Fenyin Earth- god Temple in the Northern Song Dynasty from Emperor Song Zhenzong's Enshrining in Fenyin

北宋时期,汾阴后土得到了重大发展。宋初政局稳定后,政府恢复汾阴后土祭祀;真宗时期西祀汾阴,相关祭祀礼制都得到规范,汾阴后土在此时期达到了发展高峰;西祀结束后,汾阴当地的建设也都陆续完善,北宋末年,汾阴后土地位渐增,庆成军祀后土进入国家中祀行列,从国家礼制上正式认可汾阴后土。

Earth- god in Fenyin has been developed greatly during the Northern Song Dynasty. After getting the stable political situation during the early Song Dynasty,the government resumed Fenyin＇s Earth- god worship ceremony,Emperor Song Zhenzong made worship there and the Earth- god worship reached its golden period. Later the local construction has gradually been completed. At the end of the Northern Song Dynasty,Fenyin＇s Earth- god enjoyed an increasing social status and was finally admitted as a national one.
