摘要
本文从跨文化角度讨论岭南地区景点的翻译现状,并用"目的论"指导开平碉楼对外宣传材料的翻译,通过增译、减译、变通等方法改良现有的翻译材料,对宣传手册的翻译有一定的指导作用,使翻译材料更符合英语语境。
On the basis of cross culture interaction, this paper tries to discuss the translation of sceneryspot tourist publicity materials of Lingnan area from the perspective of Skoposthorie. The paper tries to improvethe translation text through the translation methods of Amplication, Simplification and Adaptation. These meth-ods not only play a important role in translation activities but also help make the style of translation text closeto the English-style.
