高校英语专业教学模式改革刍议——复杂性理论视角

摘要 从复杂性理论的角度来看,人类在学习外语的过程中需要消耗内在资源。由于学生的内在资源有限,两种语言技能的发展可能会相互竞争、相互妨碍。在英语教学中,应设法合理利用学生的内在资源,以不同语言技能之间的互利互补代替相互干扰。为此,要改变传统外语教学中各项语言技能相互分离的做法,让不同的语言技能相互渗透,最大限度地提高学生的语言应用能力。 According to complexity theory, the development of one language skill may have a competitive relationship with development of another due to the inherent limited resources that humans can invest in learning a new skill. To improve the efficiency of language skill teaching for English majors and develop their comprehensive language proficiency, we need to make a study on the relationships between different language skills. Traditionally, language skills are taught separately in different courses. This mode of teaching should be reformed and different skills need to be practiced simultaneously for the purpose of making full use of the inherent resources of language learners.
