Lexical chunks are important breakthrough points which reading subjects grasp in Business English reading. The pragmatic effect of lexical chunks in Business English context is analyzed from three aspects of the collocation form,use frequency and the mental representation to improve the communicative value of lexical chunks,which is the key to correct cognition, appropriate use of them and obtaining success of Business English discourse reading.
