Casale IMC methanol synthesis process was described. A study was made on the structure and character of methanol synthetic reactor in combination with real operation practice. The internals in the reactor was improved during catalyst changing by cutting spacing plate between heat exchanging bundles to enhance the reliability of the reactor.
