集句词是词中的一个独特门类。从其形成和发展的过程来看,集句词不仅具有鲜明的阶段性和时代性,而且具有突出的类别性和地域性。集句词的出现及其基本特征的形成,既受到唐诗经典化和西昆诗人重视用典技巧的直接推动,也受到集句诗、词的兴衰和清代词派的深刻影响,又跟集句词人追求"以故为新"和江南的地方文化等方面有密切的关系。

The cento ci is a unique category within ci.Viewed from the process of its formation and development,the cento ci possesses the characteristics not only of distinct stage and times,but also prominent classification and regionalism.The emergence of the cento ci and the formation of its basic characteristics were directly boosted by the canonization of poetry of the Tang Dynasty and the Xikun poets emphasizing allusion skills,deeply affected by the rise and decline of the cento poetry and ci as well as school of ci in the Qing Dynasty,and closely related to the cento ci writers'pursuit of'making new out of the old'and local culture south of the Yangtze River.
