"民族团结誓词碑"树立过程是老一代共产党人寻求民族团结载体的创新典范,给今人以极为重要的启示:民族地区丰富的社会历史文化资源及其在区域社会广泛的社会影响,被赋予民族平等、团结、互助、合作等新理念,成为支撑或引领本区域社会成员行为的新规范,能够有力抵制和克服本区域阻碍民族团结的负面力量,成为借各民族地区特有的方式和智慧承载维护民族团结的新载体,为各民族共同团结奋斗,共同繁荣发展提供重要保障。

After 60 years,when recalling the event of setting up the Monument of National Unity and its historic role in adjusting national relationship and thinking over the strategic layout of ＂ Four Comprehensives＂（ Comprehensively build a moderate prosperous society,comprehensively deepen reform,comprehensively govern the nation according to law,and comprehensively strictly govern the Party.） and the promotion of the carrier of national unity,we must admit that the monument is an innovative model of national unity established by the old generation of the Communist Party and an important enlightenment for today＇s people. When the rich social,historical and cultural resources and their local influence in ethnic regions are endowed with new ideas of national equality,unity,mutual help and cooperation,they will become new norms to guide the behavior of social members and to help them resist and overcome negative forces hindering national unity. They will also become new carriers of national unity for different ethnic regions in their unique ways and provide an important guarantee for unity and struggle,prosperity and development of all ethnic groups.
