In university Dieter Rams majors in architecture, but he is committed to industrial design after graduation. He had been the chief designer in Braun that it is a famous German brand; Rams absorbed educational philosophy of the UIm Institute of Design, gradually formed his own ＂Ten design commandments＂ and design concept of ＂less, but better＂; he stressed that in the context of product functionality, user interface should be as convenient as possible; he thinks the product appearance is a gorgeous visual pollution, and visual appearance of products should try to make it simple; he advocated design to ＂less＂ but not a lack of fine detail, emphasizing the functional and technical quality of the product.
